Students are invited to come to school dressed in their favourite appropriate pyjamas 👕🩳🧸 and enjoy a fun filled day with their classmates.

👟 Please remember to wear your school shoes for safety throughout the day.

🪙 We ask families to bring along a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going towards supporting our wonderful Student Council and the great initiatives they organise for our school community. 💙✨

The signs look absolutely amazing and have helped transform our Breakfast Club space into a welcoming and vibrant environment for our students. 😊🍎🥞

🏐⚽ Tarampa State School vs Glamorgan Vale State School ⚽🏐

Today, our students proudly represented Tarampa State School as they competed against Glamorgan Vale State School in soccer and netball. It was a fantastic day of sport, with students demonstrating excellent teamwork, sportsmanship, determination, and school pride both on and off the field. 🌟👏

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our friends from Lowood State High School Henry, Addison, and Karma who generously volunteered their time to referee and officiate today’s games. 🏅🙌 Your professionalism, support, and commitment helped ensure the day ran smoothly, and we greatly appreciate your willingness to give up your time for our students.

A big congratulations to all players who participated and represented their schools so positively. 💙🩵💙💛

We are already looking forward to next term when Tarampa State School will travel to Glamorgan Vale for another exciting round of soccer and netball competition. 🚌⚽🏐

🏊‍♀️🌟 Year 3/4 Swimming Lessons 🌟🏊‍♂️

Over the past three Fridays, our Year 3/4 students have travelled to The Swim Factory in Plainland to participate in swimming lessons. Throughout the program, students enthusiastically developed their water safety knowledge, swimming techniques, confidence, and skills in the pool. 💦👏

It was wonderful to see every student challenge themselves, demonstrate resilience, and make positive progress each week. From practising fundamental swimming skills to building confidence in the water, all students should be proud of their efforts and achievements. 🏅⭐

A big thank you to the instructors at The Swim Factory for their expert guidance and support, and to our staff and families who helped make this valuable learning opportunity possible. 🙏💙

Well done, Year 3/4! We are so proud of the determination, positive attitudes, and excellent behaviour you displayed throughout the program.🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️💙

📚🦉 This term in English, the Prep/Year 1 Powerful Owl class has been learning about Information Texts. ✏️📖 To aide our learning, we have been finding out about all different types of insects 🐞🐜🦗 and what makes an insect an insect – importantly it must have 6 legs! 6️⃣🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵🦵

🔄 During our rotation activities today, we made ourselves some special binoculars. 🔭👀 We then used our binoculars with our Year 6 Buddies 👫 this afternoon to go on a ‘Nature Hunt for Bugs’. 🐛🌿🍃

We had a lot of fun 😄🎉 looking around the Dibby Farm 🚜🌾 and the school oval 🏫🌳 in search of insects 🐜🦋🐞 and any other creepy crawlies 🕷️🐌 we could find. Congratulations 👏🏆 to the Year 6 students and their P/1 Buddies who managed to find 13 of the creatures on our list! 🎯✅😊🦗🐞🐛🌟

What an incredible achievement! Freeman House has been crowned the 2026 Athletics Carnival Champions! 🥇🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Throughout the carnival, our Freeman students demonstrated outstanding determination, teamwork, sportsmanship, and house spirit. From the track to the field events, every point earned was a result of hard work, encouragement, and a commitment to giving their very best. 🌟👏

A special thank you to all of our families, friends, and community members who came along to support and cheer on our students. Your encouragement from the sidelines helped make the day such a success and created an amazing atmosphere for everyone involved. 👏🎉
