Thank you to all those people that came to the park over the holiday weeks. It was so enjoyable to see so many old and new faces and to get so much positive feedback as to what we are offering these days. A gentle reminder that we are now back to our normal trading days and that is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday. However, we will be open EVERY DAY OVER THE COMING LONG WEEKEND.

While the park is increasingly gaining so much interest based on our huge collection of macropods, wombats and other animals, there are many other creatures big and small to be seen. The Pheasant Coucal (pictured) is only one of hundreds of birds, many rare and endangered. Also pictured enjoying the sunshine are our Blotched Blue-tongued lizard family and one of our seriously cool Water Dragons.

Great to see so many visitors from around the world at our park in recent weeks. And equally great that our visitors from Korea, China, Japan and lots of other places were so enthusiastic and in themselves brought so much joy to the park. Please don’t forget, we now return to our normal trading days and will be closed every Tuesday and Wednesday.

During the school holidays, we have had many visitors to the park from near and far. Today, we welcome the Under 16 WA Girls Hockey Team, who are here after competing in the national competition in Goulburn and made the effort to visit the park. The team is pictured here with one of our special and much-loved wombats, Petunia.
