Our Tamworth office came together yesterday to support the Cancer Council with our very own Biggest Morning Tea. Thank you so much to our staff who baked lots of yummy goodies, or donated to the wonderful work that the cancer Council does.

Last Friday, our team was proud to take part in Walk a Mile - Men’s March Against Violence Towards Women, hosted by the Tamworth Domestic & Family Violence Committee.

It was a powerful community gathering standing together in support of ending domestic and family violence and raising awareness around the importance of respect and safety for all.

We’re grateful to have been part of such an important day 💜💪👠

Today marks the beginning of National Reconciliation Week 2026.

This year’s theme, All In, reminds us that reconciliation is built through everyday actions - listening, learning, respect and meaningful connection.

At Centacare, we acknowledge and celebrate the strength, cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities and remain committed to walking alongside community toward a stronger future for all.

Today on National Sorry Day, we acknowledge and remember the Stolen Generations and the lasting impact on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families, and communities.

National Sorry Day is an opportunity to reflect on our shared history, recognise the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and continue learning and growing together.

We stand in remembrance, respect, and hope for healing and reconciliation. 🖤💛❤️

Centacare is proud to introduce our refreshed logo.

This update reflects Centacare as it is today, while honouring our proud 25 years supporting vulnerable people in local communities across New England North West.

As our organisation grows and evolves, so too does how we present ourselves. This refreshed identity brings greater clarity and connection, strengthening how we share our story across the communities we serve.

While our look continues to evolve, our purpose and commitment remain the same - to walk alongside individuals, families and communities, and to provide support grounded in Dignity, Community, Cooperation and Support.
