A Total Fire Ban has been declared for the North Central and North East fire weather districts for Wednesday 11 March 2026.

No fires can be lit, or be allowed to remain alight, in the open air from 12:01 AM until 11:59 PM.

Incident Location: Goulburn Valley Hwy, Trawool

This Watch and Act message is being issued for Trawool south of Goulburn Valley Hwy, east of Trawool Fire Station.
- There is a bushfire south of the Goulburn Valley Hwy, Trawool that is not yet under control.
- Firefighters have been able to slow the spread of fire for now, but the situation can change at any time. You must monitor conditions and be ready to act.
- This Watch and Act replaces the Watch and Act issued at 6:10pm 21 February, 2026.

This Watch and Act message is being issued for Trawool south of Goulburn Valley Hwy, east of Trawool Fire Station.
- There is a bushfire south of the Goulburn Valley Hwy, Trawool that is not yet under control.
- Fire is backing down the hill in an easterly direction towards containment lines at Willow track.
- A wind change is predicted at around 7.00pm which will also move the fire in a northerly direction

The situation can change at any time. You must monitor conditions and be ready to act.
