Your Fairytale Weekend Starts Here!

Wave your magic wand, the Yackandandah Folk Festival is finally here! This Friday (tomorrow) at 6:00 PM, our town transforms into a storybook wonderland for our Grand Opening Parade.

It’s the perfect start to what’s going to be an incredible weekend of music, community, and magic. From the rhythm of the streets to the world-class acts on our stages, you won’t want to miss a single minute.

Friday’s Magic Schedule:

3:30 PM: FREE face painting for parade participants (Memorial Gardens Rotunda). Get your festival look ready!

6:00 PM: The Fairytale Street Parade begins!

The Grand Opening: Join us at the Street Stage immediately after the parade for a musical Acknowledgement of Country and the loudest highlight of the night, the legendary Year 5/6 YPS Bucket Drummers!

🛍To reduce waste bring your shopping bags, reusable cup for a coffee, some stalls will load up your containers so you can transport your market treats home safe & fresh.
