🎶 From Tchaikovsky to Bruno Mars, our young musicians took centre stage! ✨ The Pavilion, Sutherland came alive as students from the Amadeus Artists’ Evolution Program delivered an unforgettable evening of music, passion and artistry.

From powerful ensembles to breathtaking solo performances, the concert showcased not only extraordinary musical talent, but the dedication, confidence and growth of our emerging artists.

At Sydney Catholic Schools, we believe every student should have the opportunity to discover their gifts and pursue them with purpose. ✍️ "Change doesn’t always arrive in grand ways. Sometimes, it begins in the smallest, quietest moments. Moments that seem invisible. Moments that shape who we become. And that made the whole difference." (Noorhan, Small things)

For young writers, those small beginnings can become something much bigger.

The annual WriteOn competition gives students the opportunity to explore the possibilities of writing, express their ideas, find their voice and, for some, take their first steps towards becoming published authors.

This year, eight students from Sydney Catholic Schools were recognised with Gold, Silver or Bronze awards for their outstanding writing.

✨ After weeks of learning, creating and dancing with Bangarra Dance Theatre, our students took to the stage to share their original performances with the Elders whose stories and history inspired their work, alongside their families and school communities.

“For our students, this is a chance to engage with the history of community and culture, and create unique collaborative performances that showcase the voices and experience of local Elders,” says Jane Simmons, Supervisor of Performing and Visual Arts Events/Programs.

For Corpus Christi College Maroubra student Maddie, the experience was about more than dance, it was about connection: “When we are dancing together as a group, we are all connected in culture and it’s a lovely way to get to know each other and become new friends.”

A wonderful celebration of culture, creativity, connection and the power of stories shared across generations.

An evening of faith, formation and fellowship. 🙏 Sydney Catholic Schools staff and parents came together for a special evening as we begin our journey towards the International Eucharistic Congress 2028.

Through praise and worship, catechesis, personal testimony and Eucharistic Adoration, we were invited to encounter Jesus more deeply, renew our faith and reflect on how we are called to live it each day.

It was a wonderful expression of Wonder, Wisdom and Witness, deepening our understanding, opening our hearts to encounter and inspiring us to put our faith into action.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening. Together, we look forward to continuing this journey of faith, formation and encounter towards Eucharist28 🙏✨

Faith in action. 🌟 The 2026 Archbishop’s Awards celebrate young people who don’t just speak about their faith, they live it. Across our schools, these remarkable students are putting faith into action; serving others, leading with compassion and using their gifts to make a difference in their communities.

Through ministry, outreach, volunteering and everyday acts of kindness, they are showing us what it means to live with Wonder, Wisdom and Witness.

Congratulations to the students who recently took part in the 2026 Hypatia’s Challenge at Marist Sisters' College Woolwich. 👩🔬

Working in teams, the students put their knowledge and creativity to the test across challenges in mathematics, art, poetry, spelling and engineering.

Named after Hypatia, a pioneering mathematician, philosopher, scientist and astronomer, the challenge encourages girls to be curious, embrace learning and strive for knowledge. Well done to all the students who took part!👏
