Tradition returns at Scalabrini Austral with Live Easy Community Market Day ☀️

Scalabrini Austral aged care village has been part of the local community for generations. It officially opened in 1974, its grounds became a gathering place for the local Italian community, hosting fetes and festivals filled with food, music and dancing.

Last Sunday’s Live Easy Community Market Day revived that tradition, bringing people together to celebrate through music, dance, food, handmade crafts and entertainment! 💃

While Scalabrini began by supporting Italian migrants, its ‘Live Easy Social’ program now connects older people and families from across our multicultural community, creating opportunities for connection and participation.

We’re proud to support Scalabrini’s Live Easy Social through our Community Grants Program and sponsor the return of this special community event.

Ned Mannoun - Mayor of Liverpool
Councillor Fiona Macnaught - Liverpool NSW
