I remember the Easter Bonnet parades at school there in Ingleburn. I wish there were lots of photos like there would be today!

I was very happy to check out Graham Naylors website tonight and spy a pic with my dad in it. Here’s the link to a website on Bardia Barracks by Graham.

Bob Gosling has dedicated the past seven years to taking care of the military museum at the Ingleburn Military Heritage Precinct but now he has no idea what will happen to the site.

We lived on Lawson Road, in the Ingleburn family camp. What street did you live on ?

Dear Family, new image for the page...there is a large stone with a plaque commemorating those from the Camp who served...it is situated in the centre of Ingleburn ☺ A small tribute to the many who gave so much for our country 💜 God bless them all and also you, their families, who shared in their service and sacrifice 🙏💜

I am glad people are finding this page and through it, each other - apologies that it doesn't do more but if it brings us all together in any way and encourages those connections and leads to more contact, then it has done its job. Cheers, Lisa

Again...people have been asking about a website...does anyone out there want to create one? Cheers, Lisa

People are asking about a website? We don't have one - as yet - as I mentioned, I am no web wizard and barely manage this page - just started it as a connection point for all of us who knew and loved the Camp. If anyone wants to step in and make this better for everyone, please do :) Cheers, Lisa

So glad to meet Kerrin Bassett and catch up with Andrew Trump at the Bardia Precinct yesterday. So glad to know this small and precious part of or old home - all that is left - will be protected and preserved - Heritage Listed now :) Massive housing development about to swamp our old stomping grounds but Parks & Wildlife will also maintain 4 areas of bushland (156ha I think) so all that it was will not be ploughed under and built over. Sacred ground - bless all those who served and all families who called it home ###
