Step Up for the Sydney Cancer Survivorship Centre 2025
Congratulations and thank you to all our wonderful participants for completing our Step Up 2025 challenge! We hope you’ve enjoyed the journey and feel a bit fitter for it. More importantly, thanks to your efforts, we’ve raised over $24,000 for the Sydney Cancer Survivorship Centre😊
Our Step Up & Benefit Concert fundraising events this year, have seen us at the Concord Rotary Farmers Market in June and we've also held our inaugural Pets Step Up BBQ and fun day (huge thanks again to Breakfast Point IGA for so generously donating just about everything for our BBQ along with Bunnings Ashfield for actually donating the BBQ for our event!!). Thanks as well to Pet Stock for also partnering with us and providing some great prizes on the day. Thanks as well to the City of Canada Bay for providing us with such a great location at Bayview Park.
While we are still quite away from our fundraising target, we’re getting very close to funding a full day’s cost of an Exercise Physiologist.
The great news is, we're still accepting Step Up donations until July 29th. If you or your business, are looking for a local charity to support, please consider donating to the Sydney Cancer Cancer Survivorship Centre. Located in the Concord Cancer Centre at Concord Hospital, the Survivorship Centre not only provides services to cancer survivors, we also undertake world leading research into the positive impact exercise has on reducing the recurrence of cancer.
