Independent Liaison believes that the Australian community is best served by having more Independent and minor party MPs in their parliaments. Voters are more and more feeling neglected by the major parties in both government and the opposition. They feel ignored by the major p

arties and most don’t hold hopes about improvement for their electorate. Many people are fed up with politicians and the lack of personal service from political parties. Australians like the personal touch, we value individualism, we love the underdog and increasingly we value what an Independent free of a party factionalism can offer and we like the fact that Independents and minor parties have no involvement with a party room. Local voters like the fact that for an Independent the electorate is the centre of the member’s political world. Independents and minor parties have the potential to deliver true community representation within parliaments.
