Today we celebrated the start of construction at 338 Botany Road, in the inner-southern Sydney suburb of Alexandria, where 111 new homes will provide safe, secure and affordable housing for people on very low to moderate incomes.

The development will deliver: 🏠 45 Social Homes 🏠 66 Affordable Homes 🌿 A minimum 7 Star NatHERS energy rating for every home 🎨 A public artwork celebrating local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history by the late Murrawarri artist Joe Hurst 🤝 Shared community spaces designed to help residents connect.

Located just moments from Green Square Station, these homes will remain affordable permanently, helping more people stay connected to work, education, services and the communities they call home.

Thank you to Housing Australia, the City of Sydney, Buildcorp Group, DKO Architecture and all project partners helping make this project possible.

At St George Community Housing, we believe everyone deserves a place where they can put down roots, build connections and truly belong.

Today we celebrate the dads, grandfathers, carers and father figures who care for, support and make a difference in the lives of others.

We know Father’s Day can also be a difficult time for some. We’re thinking of everyone who may find today hard.

From all of us at St George Community Housing, we wish our communities a happy Father’s Day.

🖤💛❤️ NAIDOC Week 2026 | 50 Years of Deadly

This week we proudly celebrate NAIDOC Week and this year’s theme, 50 Years of Deadly.

Across the week and beyond, we’ll be supporting and attending community celebrations in Penshurst, Prairiewood, Sydney, Riverwood and Bonnyrigg, recognising the rich cultures, histories and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Whether it’s a family fun day, local community celebration or cultural event, we look forward to connecting with our communities and celebrating together.

🖤 ❤️ 💛 We’re ALL IN for National Reconciliation Week 🖤 ❤️ 💛

At St George Community Housing, this week has been about listening, learning and taking action. From supporting customer-led activities to giving our team time to engage with First Nations perspectives, we’re committed to making reconciliation part of what we do every day.

Around 90 team members took part in a powerful Tribal Warrior Virtual Reality Experience this week, deepening understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, perspectives and histories. Reconciliation is a shared journey and we’re proud to be a part of it. Thanks to all of the SGCH people, customers and neighbours who joined us this week!

Aisea and Veronica are living proof that being in a connected community is one of the keys to happy and healthy ageing. Well-known in our Riverwood community, the couple are both deeply involved helping arrange events and their local tenant group.

Thank you for making Riverwood a truly special place to live. And thank you to all of our customers who are good neighbours, making the world feel kinder, and more caring. https://bit.ly/4fE3dA7

COLOUR RUN! Bonnyrigg Youth Collective wrapped up the school holidays yesterday with a rainbow coloured fun run for locals. With hula hoops, parachutes and sack runs, the day was full of energy, smiles and family fun – finishing with neighbours coming together over a BBQ. SGCH proudly supports Bonnyrigg Youth Collective, empowering young people aged 12–25 to make a positive difference in their community.
