Also, as no one can decide on a new Australia Day. How about this... Spring Equinox.

Spring as a symbol of our new growth - as a Nation.
It's a sign of our appreciation of the life in our Country.
Every day after this equinox brings more light.
On the day of an equinox, daytime and nighttime are of approximately equal duration all over the planet - a symbol of equality.
Always in Sept. nice weather for an extra holiday.

The concept is not that this is the best flag possible. It is about letting Aboriginal People feel seen and to ask those not thinking of them to think. As Hugh Evans once said...

As History shows that all protest movements rely on symbols - boycotts, strikes, sit-ins, flags, songs. Symbolic action on whatever scale - from the Montgomery Bus Boycott to wearing a simple wristband - is designed to disrupt our everyday complacency and force people to think.

So, make one and fly it. It'll annoy someone.

Most of the designs I've seen for Flags are vomitous...
Most of the commentary from people saying the current flag is historic are vomitous.

So, easy peasy, do we REALLY care about the U.K. flag? P**s it off, acknowledge our brothers and keep some history for ya racist grandpa!

So, no one is gonna do anything about changing the flag because all the Pollies are too gutless and want their nice cushy jobs. F*ck 'em. Not against the law to alter the flag anyway you want and fly it.
