Influenza (flu) and COVID-19 both remained at a low level of activity. RSV activity increased and is now at a high level. RSV vaccines are recommended and free for adults aged 75+ and pregnant women.
Flu vaccines are now available and recommended for everyone over 6 months of age, especially those at higher risk of severe illness. For a limited time, children aged 2 to 17 years old can get a free nasal spray flu vaccine in NSW at GPs, Aboriginal Medical Services and pharmacies.
