Perched high above Kangaroo Valley, this architectural home is all about seamless living - where inside and out feel like one continuous space.

Featuring AWS Series 758 High Performance Sliding Doors, the design opens up the home with expansive, corner-to-corner glazing and flush transitions that dissolve the boundary between indoors and out.

Terra Firma is a home designed to balance the duality of land and ocean, created for a family of sailors and offering a deep sense of permanence.

Designed by Luigi Rosselli Architects, with aluminium windows and doors expertly fabricated by the team at Evolution Window Systems, the home brings together robust, grounded materials with fluid architectural forms, capturing both strength and movement in a single expression.

A refined glazing strategy enhances the connection to its coastal setting. Expansive openings frame uninterrupted views across the bay, while a striking lapped corner window creates a seamless visual link to the horizon. Sliding systems enable strong indoor-outdoor flow, allowing the home to open effortlessly to its surroundings.
The result is a residence that feels both anchored and open, where light, materiality and craftsmanship come together in a calm, enduring coastal retreat.

Performance-driven glazing, attuned to Canberra’s seasonal contrasts.

This contemporary home is shaped by contrast: soft curves against linear planes, solid masonry balanced with expansive glazing, and privacy paired with openness.

AWS glazing systems are central to the project’s balance of openness, comfort and control. SlideMASTER™ sliding doors create generous indoor–outdoor connections, thermally broken awning windows enhance passive ventilation and thermal performance, and 100mm front-glazed framing delivers a clean, minimal façade expression.

A stepped architectural retreat made for bay views and breezes.

Mount Martha House steps down a steep coastal site as a series of subtly twisted forms, shaped to capture uninterrupted western views to the bay while maintaining privacy across multiple levels.
A gallery-style circulation spine displays the owners’ art collection, while elevated living spaces and garden-connected lower levels balance family connection and retreat. Low solar heat gain glazing, and generous openings support cross ventilation and year-round comfort, all grounded by natural materials that connect the home to its landscape.

A contemporary interpretation of the traditional gable form.

This home pairs classic gable geometry with modern functionality, centred around an 8.8 metre double-height void on a 45-degree pitch. Precise alignment of the gable windows to the ceiling pitch was critical, elevating the architectural expression of light, scale and proportion.

Designed for the Gold Coast hinterland climate, double glazing throughout ensures year-round comfort and performance. Large-scale gable glazing and extended ceiling heights were achieved using Elevate™ commercial framing and Vantage® residential systems.
