The Danish women's soccer team has announced their participation in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023, which will be held in Australia and New Zealand. The team is scheduled for three matches on Australian soil: two in Perth and one in Sydney.

The Danish team's participation in the 2023 World Cup is not only important for the team but also for women's soccer in general. The team's success has helped to increase the popularity of women's soccer in Denmark and has inspired many young girls to take up the sport. By breaking down barriers and challenging gender norms, these players are showing young girls everywhere that they too can achieve greatness on the soccer field.

It's time to gear up and show support for the Danish women's soccer team as they come to Australian shores for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023. Let's continue to support and uplift these trailblazing women as they inspire the next generation to follow in their footsteps.

A moment of celebration for Danish architecture and design!

Copenhagen has been appointed “World Capital of Architecture 2023" by UNESCO and UIA - International Union of Architects.

As a country, Denmark has consistently been at the forefront of the architecture and design industry, setting the standard for the rest of the world to follow. From the iconic Sydney Opera House in Australia to the modern structures of Copenhagen, Denmark's impact on the architectural world has been significant and far-reaching.

Copenhagen is known for its unique and innovative city design and buildings - including a power plant with a ski slope on its roof, a bike-first urban design with bicycle bridges and super cycle highways.

Throughout 2023, Copenhagen will serve as meeting point for people from around the World with a view to showcasing and discussing why and how architecture plays a crucial part in addressing the present climate crisis – be it via the homes we live in, the cities we develop and the neighbourhoods we engage in.

If you want to know more about Danish architecture, its relation to Australia and how your company can benefit from this, do not hesitate to contact our trade team: https://australien.um.dk/en/the-trade-council/meet-the-team

At the same time, the industry also need to reduce its carbon footprint and sustainability is therefore on the top of the agenda.
