It's National Volunteer Week! 💚 WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo works closely with TAFE NSW and various Universities to provide practical experience for those students who are studying to gain entry into the animal care/ zoo industry.

When asked what they love about Volunteering at the zoo, Taylah said: 'One of my favourite parts of the volunteer program is giving enrichment to all the animals and watching them enjoy it!'

We are so excited to announce this groundbreaking achievement in conservation with the success of our first-ever on-site breed for release program, for Littlejohn’s Tree Frogs (Litoria littlejohni) 🙌

Within just 72 hours of arriving at a new custom-built facility, endangered frog species have successfully produced three clutches of eggs, a milestone never before achieved in a zoo setting 🐸
