Mr and Mrs Consul General attended King’s Birthday Ceremonial Parade and Reception on the invitation of Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales on 6 June 2026 at the at Government House Sydney. The tradition of celebrating the monarch's birthday officially began in 1748 with King George II of Great Britain. The event brought together senior officials of New South Wales, veterans, members of Consular Corps especially from Commonwealth countries.

Lord Mayor shared the development plans for CBD and Sydney and her active engagement with the immigration programs. The Consulate General of Pakistan, Sydney, facilitated a productive Zoom meeting between Mr. Muhammad Asif of the Australia Pakistan Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry (APCTCI) and Mr. Naveed Hameed of the Pakistan New Zealand Business Council to discuss opportunities for strengthening trade and business cooperation between Pakistan, Australia, and New Zealand.

The discussion primarily focused on encouraging the participation of Australian businesses in the upcoming Aotearoa Pakistan Trade and Investment Forum, scheduled to be held on 26 June 2026 in New Zealand. Participants also exchanged views on promoting Pakistani businesses and products in the New Zealand market, enhancing business-to-business engagement, expanding market access, and creating new trade and investment opportunities for enterprises across the region.
