An evaluation of the NSW Compulsory Drug Treatment Program (CDTP)
The 2006 Compulsory Drug Treatment Program (CDTP) was established to allow the NSW Drug Court to order male sentenced, repeat drug offenders to the Compulsory Drug Treatment Correctional Centre (CDTCC) for comprehensive drug treatment and rehabilitation.

Participation in CDTP is conditional on meeting eligibility criteria relating to drug dependence, sentence length, prior offending, mental health and location of residence, and being assessed as suitable for participation by corrective services staff.

Confidence in the NSWCJS has declined significantly since 2019 across all measures and is at the lowest levels since BOCSAR’s survey began in 2007. More research is needed to understand the reasons for this observed decline in public trust.

How do we know when a passenger needs ramp assistance? ♿️

Well, our staff have an internal app that notifies them that a passenger will require assistance. This notification needs to be acknowledged and if it’s not, it’s followed up with a phone call 📱

The app tells all sorts of details like departing and arrival stops and even where the passenger is seated on the train 🚂

When they arrive, staff retrieve the ramp from these cabinets at our stations and offer their assistance 👏
