The socialism we support is based on five principles:
* Solidarity and collaboration, not dog-eat-dog competition and rivalry
* Environmental sustainability: living in harmony with the planet
* Participatory democracy, not just voting for representatives every three years
* Social economy: putting people's need before corporate profit
* True equality between peoples, nations, religions and the sexes

Socialist Alliance campaigners for the seat of Heffron had a great time at the Multicultural Festival at Jack Mundey park on the weekend! Lots of support to end the eviction of public housing tenants and demolition of public housing. Plus significant support for Palestine. Sitting ALP member Ron Hoenig is pushing for demolitions at Waterloo. Vote him out! Get involved in the Socialist Alliance campaign and help make this happen!

It’s important we get our on the street and challenge the racism and bigotry of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, that has been allowed to flourish by Labor and the Coalition’s anti-refugee policies, anti-trans laws and attacks on the NDIS.

Join the speak-out at Minogue Reserve in Glebe at 11am on Saturday, September 26 to hear from community campaigners, students and First Nations leaders before we march to the University of Sydney footbridge for an anti-racist banner drop.
