📸 Brisbane brought the Horizon Europe Roadshow Australia 2026 to its halfway point with a fully booked event!

Yesterday, participants came together for a morning focused on moving from awareness of Horizon Europe to practical preparation for participation.

The discussion covered Australia’s association and next steps, navigating the programme and application process, insights from Australian participation, and practical approaches to engaging with European partners and building or joining consortia.

The questions from the room reflected strong interest in what Australian organisations can do now to prepare for the opportunities ahead.

Thank you to Queensland University of Technology (QUT) for hosting the event, to the speakers for sharing their knowledge and experience, and to everyone who contributed to the discussion.

📸 Strong turnout and no shortage of questions in Perth!

Yesterday, the Horizon Europe Roadshow Australia 2026 reached Perth for its third stop.

The room brought together participants from many universities and research institutions, alongside SMEs, industry, government and other research and innovation stakeholders.

The breadth of perspectives made for a lively exchange, with many thoughtful and practical questions about Australia’s association and next steps, identifying relevant calls, finding European partners, building or joining consortia, and preparing competitive applications.

📸 What a turnout in Adelaide!

Yesterday, a large and diverse crowd gathered at Adelaide University’s Scott Theatre for the second stop of the Horizon Europe Roadshow Australia 2026.

From universities and publicly funded research organisations to government, industry and SMEs, the range of sectors represented brought valuable perspectives to the discussion.

The session moved from Australia’s association to Horizon Europe and next steps to how the programme works and what participation requires in practice. A lively Q&A generated many thoughtful and practical questions about identifying opportunities, engaging with European partners and building or joining consortia.

📸 Darwin set the Horizon Europe Roadshow Australia 2026 in motion on Friday.

We welcomed participants in Darwin for the first of eight events across Australia.

The discussion moved from what Australia’s association to Horizon Europe means and what comes next, to the practicalities of finding opportunities, navigating applications and building or joining international consortia. Participants also heard insights and lessons from Australian experience in EU Funded Programmes.
