Today feels heavy as we remember Lynette, Glen, Josh and Kevin.

Four people who showed up for their community every single day, who put others first, and who should have made it home. On 22 April 2020, their lives were taken far too soon, and the loss is still deeply felt.

We’re thinking of their families, friends and colleagues — and standing with them in remembrance.

Thank you to the patrons of the Omeo Rodeo for their patience and courtesy to our car parking & traffic volunteers on Easter Saturday 🐣

At 6pm last night we paged to assist AV with an injured mountain bike rider in Omeo. Once the rider was in the back of the Ambulance we were asked to head up to the Omeo Recreational Reserve to ensure campers did not go onto the oval while HEMS 2 landed.

A special shout out to Ben & Teresa from SES Leongatha Unit for spend their Easter helping us out

The team at Tambo Valley SES is deeply saddened on receiving the news tonight of the passing of Operations Manager David Bartley. David was a highly respected member of VIC SES, where he was a volunteer and a staff member. David had trained most of our current members and travelled up to Swifts Creek many times to assist us, he may have even worn a party hat for a birthday.
​David will be greatly missed by everyone who had dealt with him and our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies go out to his family, friends and of course all of us in Orange. RIP Dave 💔🧡

With the long weekend upon us, here are some great tips

Wow, the start of the school year has arrived.

Good luck to all students and their families who are starting prep this year - what a milestone - or are joining new schools. Some of the first people you will see when arriving at school will be our fantastic school crossing supervisors - say g'day and please follow their instructions and set a great example with your children. They are there to keep everyone safe.

For those in vehicles, we know school drop off and pick up can be a hectic time. Please remember to slow down to 40km/h in school zones and watch for students crossing at both supervised and non-supervised crossings.

Please pay a little more attention as everyone gets back into the school routine, and stay off the mobile phones when driving.

Parking restrictions around schools help keep traffic flowing safely for everyone.

Together we can make sure every child gets to and from school safely.
