Today our Years 3-6 students had an opportunity to meet and listen to Liana France, who became the youngest female Australian Winter Paralympian when she made her Paralympic debut at the Milano Cortina in Italy in March this year. At the 2026 Winter Paralympics, she finished 15th in the Women's Slalom - Standing event and 14th in the Women's Giant Slalom - Standing event. Liana shared her journey of being involved in elite sport, including the sacrifices and challenges she has had to make, in order to compete on the biggest sporting stage in the world at the age of just 16 years old.
