REFOCUS is proud to be attending and sponsoring the 64th Anniversary of Samoa’s Independence this Saturday, 6 June at Pine Rivers Park, Strathpine.

Come and connect with our team, learn more about the services we provide across North Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Cairns, and discover how you can make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families through foster and kinship care.

Today, REFOCUS honours the legacy of Eddie Koiki Mabo and the historic decision that recognised the enduring connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to Country.

Mabo Day is a time to reflect on truth, justice, resilience, and the strength of First Nations peoples whose stories, cultures, and custodianship have shaped this land for tens of thousands of years.

As we continue our journey of learning, respect, and reconciliation, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work, and walk.
