Myth vs. Reality: Child Safety 👩🏼🍼
Strangers are often seen as the biggest threat, but in reality, most harm comes from people children know. It’s important to teach kids about safe and unsafe behaviors with everyone, not just strangers. While adults are typically expected to handle everything, children are also capable of recognizing unsafe feelings and knowing when to seek help. Safety talks, if done thoughtfully, don’t scare kids—instead, they empower them and build their confidence. Even young children benefit from learning about body boundaries, as early education on boundaries helps them communicate discomfort and understand personal space.
