Last Thursday, we had 25 students represent Kismet Park at the Division Athletics Carnival. Students battled some cold conditions but gave their best and represented our school incredibly well.

A special congratulations to Dion, Immy, Flo, Genna and Evie, who all qualified for the Region level competition. Well done!

Then, on Tuesday, our 5/6 Summer Sports teams competed in the Sunbury District competition in basketball, volleyball, tennis and lawn bowls.

The students had a great time showing off their skills, competing against other schools and, most importantly, giving their all. It was fantastic to see everyone supporting their teammates and representing Kismet Park so proudly.

Well done to everyone who participated!

Our students have been excited to explore our newly purchased 3D printer, bringing their ideas and designs to life as part of our STEM program. A huge thank you to our Platinum Sponsor for their valued support and of our school and students.

Our Year 5/6 students have also been having lots of fun learning with Edison Robots. These programmable robots help students develop coding, sequencing and problem solving skills through hands on challenges.

It’s great to see so much creativity, curiosity and learning happening in STEM!

What a great morning we had celebrating Book Week at Kismet Park!

The gym was full of colour creativity and some seriously impressive costumes. So many students and staff got involved and bought their favourite characters to life.

Well done to our families for all the effort that went into the costumes. We know a lot of work happens behind the scenes.

Such a great way to finish off our Book Week celebrations!

A big thankyou also goes out to our sponsors, Ray White Sunbury and TheirCare for their continued support of Kismet Park.

Yesterday was a very special day at Kismet Park as we welcomed our newest little learners for their very first Kismet Kidlets session.

Our future Prep students had the chance to explore the school, meet new friends and begin becoming familiar with the routines and experiences of school life.

Kismet Kidlets is a 10-week school readiness program, designed to help children build confidence, independence and familiarity with school routines before beginning Prep in 2027.

The program will run over the coming weeks and finish with a special Kismet Kidlets Graduation Ceremony in the final week to celebrate the children completing the program.

A big thank you to our wonderful Platinum Sponsors Ray White Sunbury, for their ongoing support of Kismet Park Primary School and our school community.

Welcome to Book Week 2026!

This year’s theme is Symphony of Stories, and we’re ready to turn the page on a week full of fun, creativity and imagination.

Throughout the week, students will enjoy a range of activities, including book trivia, guessing the teacher behind the book, and designing their own book cover.

We’ll finish the week with our much-loved Book Week Parade, held in the school gym at 9:00am on Friday 28 August.

We look forward to seeing our Kismet Community there.

A big thankyou to our wonderful sponsors, Ray White Sunbury and TheirCare for their continued support of these events.
