What happens when local businesses support each other, build strong relationships and think beyond their own backyard?

That’s the conversation we’ll be having at our final Pine Rivers Chamber Breakfast Forum for 2026, with Mike Arieni, Founder & Managing Director of Solar Bollard Lighting.

From his base in Brendale, Mike has built an Australian design and manufacturing business serving international markets.

He’ll share what he’s learned about building relationships, working with local manufacturers, creating opportunities and taking an Australian-made product to the world.

It’s a chance to hear a local business story, learn from Mike’s experience and connect with other businesses from across the Moreton Bay region.

WHAT A FABULOUS MORNING OF CONNECTIONS!

What a fantastic morning at last Friday's inaugural Pine Rivers Business Network coffee catch-up, hosted in partnership with Nikki Boyd MP!

It was wonderful to see such a great turnout, and a real highlight was seeing so many Pine Rivers Chamber of Commerce members in the room, connecting with other local business owners and supporting our local business community.

Because when local businesses come together, great things happen! 🙌

A special thank you to our guest speaker, David Archer from MaxSil – Boosts Yield for sharing his story, knowledge, and the innovative work he’s doing. David gave us a great insight into how local businesses can think big, embrace innovation and make a real difference.

A big thank you to Nikki Boyd MP and her team for partnering with the Pine Rivers Chamber of Commerce to bring this event to life. We’re excited about what this collaboration will bring to our local business community!

Stress rarely shows up all at once. It builds quietly until one day it’s showing up in your business.

And here’s the hard part: the early signs are easy to miss, in your team and in yourself.
That’s what today’s PRCC Lunch & Learn is all about: Mental Health Awareness in the Workplace.

Guest speaker Nikki Paterson from Accomplish Education is an accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor with over 24 years of frontline experience.

In one practical hour, she’ll show you how to:

✅ Spot early changes in mental wellbeing
✅ Understand the Mental Health Continuum
✅ Use the RESET framework to check in and respond early
✅ Find practical support options for your team

Facilitated by Monika Kulshrestha from Deals Colony.

💜 What if a business program actually helped you DO the things you’ve been meaning to do?

Welcome to Female Founders Round 2!

Starting Wednesday 28 October, this program is designed to give women in business across Moreton Bay the practical skills, support and accountability to keep moving forward.

Over the program you’ll explore topics including:

🎯 Goal Setting & Accountability

💰 Finance & Tax for Small Business
📣 Marketing for Your Personality Type

But the learning is only part of it…

You’ll also have ongoing connection, accountability and support to help you put what you learn into action.

Because let’s be honest — knowing what you should do and actually doing it are two very different things! 😂
