Hopefully it will all blow over and be little more than some much needed rain and a little wind🤞
But just incase they are right heres a few good tips
Pack away, secure or tie down outdoor furniture, trampolines and other loose items around your home that could be picked up and thrown by strong winds.

Theres a good chance we may loose power, so best to prepare an emergency kit with a radio that runs off batteries, a torch, spare batteries, candles and matches (be sure not to leave those unattended) and a first aid kit.

Review your plan and make sure everyone in your household knows what to do. If you do not have a plan, make one now on Emergency WA or in the Emergency WA app.

If you see any powerlines down be sure to keep your distance at least 8 to 10m and call either 13 13 51 for Western power 24hr Emergency hotline or report to 000 immediately,

Stay safe everybody ❤️

⛈️ PLEASE NOTE: Storm Advice - MONITOR CONDITIONS has been updated for parts of MIDWEST GASCOYNE, GOLDFIELDS MIDLANDS, PERTH METROPOLITAN, SOUTH WEST, UPPER GREAT SOUTHERN, LOWER SOUTH WEST and GREAT SOUTHERN. For the latest information visit emergency.wa.gov.au or the Emergency WA app ⛈️

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news, that just over a week ago, the Stoneville Brigade lost one of its true pillars, Howard Christensen.

For 33 years, Howard was a dedicated member of the Brigade and a respected mate, mentor, and friend to so many. Over the years, he attended countless fires and was always generous in sharing his knowledge and experience with new recruits.

Even when he could no longer turn out on the trucks, Howard’s commitment to the Brigade never faded. He was still there — attending meetings, cooking barbeques, lending a hand around the station, and supporting the crew however he could.

One of Howard’s most cherished roles was bringing joy to local families as Santa during the Brigade’s annual Santa Run. For many Stoneville children, Howard was Santa — spreading smiles, laughter, and community spirit wherever he went.

Howard gave so much of himself to others, not only through the Brigade, but also through Scouts, his Church, and the wider local community. His kindness, generosity, and quiet dedication left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Howard will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

End of Shift, Howard.
Thank you for your service, your friendship, and everything you gave to this community. Rest easy mate, We’ll take it from here🫡❤️
