🥶 OUR WINTER PASSPORT IS BACK 🥶

Now we have officially entered the cooler part of the year, one of our most popular aquatic activities is coming back for winter!

So, how does it work?
❄️ Collect a stamp card for your child at reception, it looks just like this.
❄️ Collect a stamp every time your child jumps into the pool, whether for a swimming lesson, on weekends or after school.
❄️ Collect as many stamps as possible between Monday, June 15 and Saturday, August 29. The more cards you have in the competition box the more chances you have to win some cool prizes!

Then go into the draw to win:
🥇 Major prize: Paddleboard and life jacket (valued at $320)
🥈 Second prize: Children's kayak and life jacket (valued at $160)
🥉 Third prize: $50 centre voucher

There will also be spot prizes and chances to score double stamps, so make sure you're following our page and checking back regularly to find out more over the coming weeks!

Stamp cards can be collected at reception from next Monday, June 15, so stop by and grab one when you are next visiting the centre.

The centre will be open on restricted hours this Monday, June 8 for the King's Birthday Public Holiday, with normal hours resuming on Tuesday from 6am.

On Monday:
🕛 Centre open between 1pm and 5pm
❎ No group fitness classes
❎ No swimming lessons

Our wonderful group fitness instructor Penny has unfortunately injured herself, meaning we need to cancel group fitness classes tomorrow, Thursday, June 4.

Attention swimming lessons families and aquatic users.

Unfortunately, the increased rain over the past 24 hours partnered with our ageing facility don't mix to well.

The heating system for our pool isn't working and means our pool is currently much cooler than normal.

We have made the decision to cancel all swimming lessons and sensory play this morning, Tuesday, June 2. All families have received communication via text message and email regarding the cancellations.

We have contractors on site now working through the issues and are hopeful we will have the system working in readiness for everyone to enjoy this afternoon. Will update this post if anything changes. Thank you for your understanding.

Our swimming program has more students than it ever has, which is a testament to our swim teachers and their commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment.

Little people strive on routine and consistency, which is why we have such a large program of different days, times and teachers available for these students. We want you to find a lesson time and teacher that suits you and your child.

Other lesson benefits at SSAC include:
🩵 Our pool is always around 31.5 degrees; other pools can run a little cooler.
🩵 We offer classes six days a week with morning and afternoon times available.
🩵 You can cancel a lesson any time and book a make-up lesson via our online portal.
🩵 Sensory Play on Tuesdays at 9am is free for all students, as are our school holiday programs*.
🩵 Our teachers are committed and prioritise their professional development.

As a part of our commitment to ensure our lifeguards are up to date with their training, the aquatic area will be closing at 6pm tomorrow, Monday, June 1, to public as our team undertakes their quarterly training sessions.
Please note that the 6pm Water Aerobics will still be running.
All other areas of the centre will be open as per our regular opening hours.
Sorry for the inconvenience. This may cause some community members, but there is plenty of time to enjoy the pool and spa tomorrow as we are open
