Welcome to Our Newest Member!
Please join us in congratulating Andreas Lionakis, the latest member to join Stanthorpe Toastmasters!
Andreas has already completed his Ice Breaker speech - Migration to Australia - launching his journey on the Engaging Humor Pathway with confidence, warmth, and plenty of personality.
We’re excited to see his progress as he sharpens his skills and brings laughter and insight to every meeting.
Big cheers, Andreas — we’re glad you’re part of our club!

Your next chapter begins here.

At our 22 January 2026 meeting, we celebrated members recognised for Best Speaker, Best Evaluator, Most Improved, Best Table Topic and Best Quip.

At Stanthorpe Toastmasters, awards aren’t about perfection — they’re about confidence, growth, and having a go.

If you’ve ever wanted to speak with more confidence or communicate more clearly, this is where it starts.

🎤 Visitors always welcome

Most people think confidence comes before you speak.
In reality, confidence comes because you speak.
A growth mindset is the willingness to try, stumble, learn, and try again — in a room that supports you while you do it.
That’s what we practise every week at Stanthorpe Toastmasters.
If you’ve been waiting until you “feel ready”… this might be your sign.

Our 2025/2026 Changeover Dinner was one to remember — full of heart, vision, and a true sense of Toastmasters camaraderie.

📣 Our newly inducted Club President, Michelle Priem (pictured), delivered a speech that had the entire room captivated — a powerful message of shared vision, supportive leadership, and unwavering belief in each member’s potential. Her passion, presence, and purposeful hand gestures (as captured in these photos) had people talking long after the last bite of dessert.

💫 Michelle reminded us that her vision is your vision — and she’s here to help each of us achieve our goals, whatever they may be.

👏 A big thank you to our outgoing President, Michelle Burton, who gave a heartfelt and humorous wrap-up of the past year — a perfect handover.

🤝 We were thrilled to welcome visiting Toastmasters from Tenterfield and Warwick clubs, along with several enthusiastic guests — thank you for making the night even more special.

💬 Here's to a new year of connection, confidence, and personal growth — led by a President who's already inspiring us to reach higher.
