Our students had a fantastic day of community access!

They practised their travel training skills by learning and navigating a new route to Wetherill Park, helping to build confidence and independence. We also spent some fun and active time at Flip Out, enjoying plenty of movement, laughter and time together. It was a great day of learning, building independence and enjoying the community.🌟

Our Year 11 & 12 students kicked off our R U OK? Day celebrations today with a session focused on connection, conversation and support. From Walk & Talk and Just Dance to our R U OK? Day photobooth, students had plenty of ways to connect, have fun and check in with each other.

Every year group will be taking part throughout the day, with plenty more opportunities to connect, check in and spread the R U OK? message across our school community. 🏃‍♀️🎶

Supervising a learner driver can be challenging, which is why RYDA has developed Driver Coach — a free online workshop designed to support parents, carers and other driver supervisors. The session will provide practical guidance to help supervisors support learner drivers and help make the next generation of drivers the safest ever.

🎨 We’re excited to celebrate Xander, whose artwork has been selected for this year’s Nagoya Sister City Art Exchange exhibition in Nagoya! A huge congratulations to Xander on this fantastic achievement. 👏

We’d also like to recognise Aaliyah, Rose Mary and Maiven for having their artwork nominated for consideration. It’s wonderful to see our students sharing their creativity and continuing to develop their artistic practice.

🏆 Congratulations to our Inclusive Education student Adam, who proudly won a Gold Medal at the Boccia Representative Tournament held at Sydney Olympic Park yesterday.

A special congratulations also goes to Mr Sebastian, who was awarded a Bronze Medal for coaching the team to an outstanding 3rd-place finish in the State tournament. This is a wonderful achievement that reflects the students’ dedication, teamwork and resilience, along with the commitment and guidance of their coach.

What an achievement! 👏
