YMCA CLOTHING DRIVE | To celebrate World Cleanup Day and the start of Spring, Springfield Lakes State School is partnering with the YMCA Springfield Lakes Community Centre for the Cheeky Monkeys Clothing Drive - giving pre-loved children’s clothing a second life while supporting local families in our community.

We are inviting every family to add a small bag of clean, gently used children’s clothing to their Spring Clean and donate items your children have outgrown on Thursday 10th September.

We’re collecting sizes 00000–12, including:
• Summer and winter clothing
• Hats and swimmers
• School uniforms
• Shoes
Please ensure all donations are clean, in good condition, and free from stains or damage.
🌏 One small clean-up. A bigger community impact.

FIREFIGHTER VISIT | 🚒 LOOK WHO DROPPED BY! 👨‍🚒🔥

Our Year 1 students had a very special visit from the firefighters at Ripley Fire and Rescue Station! There was plenty of excitement as our students discovered what firefighters do, learnt important fire safety tips and even had a go at practising the Stop, Drop and Go method.

A big thank you to the amazing firefighters from Ripley Fire and Rescue Station for taking the time to visit our school and help our students learn how to stay safe. ❤️🚒

Students are not to attend school on this day as our staff will be participating in professional learning.
