There are a number of things wrong with this photo - we can count 3... 😉

A reminder to keep your feet/hooves off our seats and the use of vapes or ci******es are strictly prohibited onboard our trains and at our stations.

We all play a part in ensuring the journey is safe and comfortable for everyone (people who wear tabi shoes are also included 🐮).

We've been busy on the Shorncliffe line running Queensland Rail passenger services equipped with the European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2 in revenue operations - an Australian first! 🚆

The state-of-the-art digital signalling technology is a key part of modernising the rail network and, when fully implemented, will allow us to run more trains, more often across South East Queensland.

Queensland Rail is saddened by the passing of Rail Back on Track Founder Robert Dow.

At the helm of Rail Back on Track Robert was a powerful voice for better public transport across Queensland.

As you can see in our video with Robert at Bundamba station, his impact was seen across Queensland and his advocacy shaped meaningful conversations ranging from major projects, accessibility, and public policy (to name a few).

Robert was always willing to engage in robust and constructive conversation with Queensland Rail and his extensive understanding and passion for public transport helped us in delivering a better rail network in Queensland.

We send our sincere condolences to Robert’s family and friends.

Additional services are now running across the SEQ network.

From today, 417 extra weekly services have been added, bringing the network up to 91 per cent of the full timetable.

This includes Beenleigh and Shorncliffe line services increasing from 30-minute peak frequencies to 15-minute peak frequencies.

We'd like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding while timetable changes were in place.

Regardless of what it is, personal belongings should never block the aisles and items must be secured to ensure they are not at risk of injury to customers.

When travelling on our network - oversized, unsafe and banned items are NOT permitted on our trains.

We all play a part in making sure everyone’s journey is safe and free from injury!

We're growing our team, with 35 new recruits joining our largest-ever intake of Authorised Officers.

From patrolling trains and stations to supporting customers, responding to incidents and helping keep our network safe, these dedicated team members are on the frontline every day.
