A supernatural tale by lower secondary student Jackie Sun has taken out the top prize at the 40th annual South Perth Young Writers Award ⭐

This year more than 150 students entered the competition 😯

Even bins need everything showers 🫧🗑️

We won’t let a dirty bin ruin your view - whether you’re on the foreshore, or enjoying any of the City's other hotspots.

Our waste team is giving public bins a high-pressure clean, removing built-up gunk, stains and residue from the bins and surrounding concrete.

Busy spots will get extra TLC, because the bins need to look as lovely as their surroundings ✨
