π¨β€οΈ Thank a First Responder Day β€οΈπ¨
Today is Thank a First Responder Day, a day dedicated to recognising the incredible men and women who answer the call when our communities need them most.
From firefighters, paramedics and police officers to SES and RFS volunteers, marine rescue crews and many others, first responders work around the clock to help keep us safe.
At Fire and Rescue NSW Station 307, we are proud to stand alongside our fellow emergency service agencies and thank every first responder for their dedication, professionalism and sacrifice. We also acknowledge the families and loved ones who provide unwavering support behind the scenes.
Thank a First Responder Day is an initiative of Fortem Australia, supporting the wellbeing and mental health of first responders and their families.
Today, we encourage our community to take a moment to say thank you. A simple gesture of appreciation can mean a lot to those who serve.
