The Albury Evening Country Women's Association (CWA) Branch was created to fit in with modern day women's busy schedules and ever changing lives as people living in the 21st century. This branch aims to provide women in the Albury/Wodonga and surrounding areas a chance to give back to the community, all the while keeping with the traditional values of the CWA, which are; helping people in disaster
areas such as those caused by drought, fire and flood; teaching and learning cooking and crafts; performing and entertaining; catering in the community and making scones at agricultural shows; engaging in social issues; working on agricultural and environmental concerns; and lobbying governments on many issues. As women we all have our own niches we can offer to each other and the wider community. Please come and get involved, and spread the word to like-minded ladies! Our meetings are held at 7pm on the 4th Wednesday of the month at Harry’s Hut South Albury. For any further inquires please post on our wall or email us at [email protected]
