Designed with the people passing by in mind. 🚲🌿

We developed Profence Parkway fencing to help reduce snagging risks for cyclists, young children and others using shared paths.

Its close-spaced mesh and smooth path-facing surface help reduce the risk of handlebars and pedals catching, while maintaining clear visibility.

From little riders finding their balance to everyday cyclists, those design details matter.

Australian-made fencing, developed with a purpose.

Protecting the journeys that matter. 🚆

Behind every journey is infrastructure worth protecting, and people working to make it happen.

From the installation to the finished boundary, this footage shows Australian-made security fencing taking its place alongside our rail network, helping restrict unauthorised access to the corridor.

At Protective Fencing, we manufacture fencing that helps protect the people, places and essential infrastructure our communities rely on.

Beyond the pool 🌿

Natural play spaces call for thoughtful choices in materials, and fencing is part of that picture.

Here, roll-top steelmesh is paired with substantial timber posts, bringing the texture and character of timber into the boundary design.

The open mesh maintains views through the space, while the deep green finish sits comfortably amongst the planting.

Australian-made steelmesh, complementing spaces designed for play.

From where we’d rather be… 🌊

Coastal environments demand more from fencing. Salt-laden air, moisture and wind exposure can accelerate corrosion, making the right material and finish particularly important.

Chainwire provides a practical boundary while maintaining visibility and allowing the coastal outlook to remain the focus.

For demanding environments, options include Fuse Bonded wire and PVC-coated galvanised wire, providing added protection and durability where it matters.

Talk to our team about the right chainwire finish for your project and exposure conditions.

From the Protective Fencing archives…

Long before websites, mobile phones and online quoting, this was how we promoted our locally manufactured fencing.

The machinery, address and phone number may have changed, but the foundations of our business remain the same: manufacturing quality fencing locally in Australia and supplying Australian industry and government.

More than 50 years later, we’re proud to continue manufacturing in Australia, and protecting the places and infrastructure Australians rely on.

Does anyone recognise the team members or machinery pictured?
