Every hall has a story to tell, and this Saturday night Savernake Hall will be sharing ours!

Join us as we celebrate 100 years of Savernake Hall with a special evening of comedy, storytelling and community featuring award-winning comedian and storyteller Damian Callinan.

Drawing on stories, characters and memories gathered from the local community, Damian’s show celebrates the quirks, traditions and unforgettable moments that make rural halls the heart of country Australia.

Savernake Hall is such an ideal venue for many types of gatherings. A lovely day was has last Saturday afternoon celebrating the upcoming wedding of local lady Jenna 💍 .Our supper room was transformed into a delightful and very feminine setting; the hall was looking wonderful!! And on such hot day we were lucky to be indeed in the cool. About 25 ladies from Savernake and beyond enjoyed a lovely afternoon of friendship, chat, delectable food, and many warm greetings of well-wishes and blessings to Jenna and Nathaniel on their forthcoming wedding.

Savernake School of Arts Hall Committee was delighted to welcome many to their annual Australia Day Breakfast. Former and new residents enjoyed a delicious meal and good community interactions.

Former long-time resident John O’Dwyer, formerly of ‘Kilpa’ Savernake, recently celebrated his 100th Birthday at the Berrigan Golf Club. His children, wider family and many friends from both Savernake and Berrigan gathered over morning tea to convey their congratulations. His sister Biddy and brother David, both well into their 90s, were amongst the VIPs.
