P450 will be in attendance tomorrow assisting the RFS with a planned hazard reduction at Kincumba Mountain.

Expect smoke to be present in the area and if you see unattended fire, please call 000

A hazard reduction (HR) burn is scheduled for Saturday 18th April 2026. This HR will be in the Kincumber area.

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and recognise the strength, dedication and resilience of women across the world.

At Station 450, we’re proud to work alongside incredible women who bring not only skill and determination to the job, but also a wealth of knowledge that benefits our team and the community. Our Deputy Captain, Firefighter Perkins, also serves as a paramedic, while Firefighter Hughes is a registered nurse. Together, their experience and passion for helping others play a vital role when it comes to patient care and health on the job.

Today we celebrate the contribution of women in Fire and Rescue NSW and everywhere – thank you for the strength, compassion and professionalism you bring to the service every day. 💪🚒🎀

A Total Fire Ban is now in place, Saturday 10 January, for Greater Sydney, Illawarra/Shoalhaven, Far South Coast, Greater Hunter, Monaro Alpine, Southern and Central Ranges and the Southern Slopes. Hot, dry and windy conditions are forecast across much of the state, increasing the fire danger.

Take action now. Know your fire risk and what you will do if fire threatens. Report all unattended fires to Triple Zero (000).

Santa Run for 2025 is in the books and a huge thank you to everyone for coming out in droves!

We loved being able to see you all, get photos with Santa as well as getting some sweet treats.

🚒🎅🏻 SANTA RUN 🎅🏻🚒

Christmas Eve we are BACK with Santa and his Elf to deliver Christmas cheer (and a few lollies if you've been good 😉)

Starting from 1pm we will have the tracker link posted and begin our journey!

You will notice the map has lots of stars and locations marked out, these will be our Lolly drop locations!

With the increase in pedestrian traffic, e-scooters and e-bikes around, to ensure a safe event for everyone, we will stop for a short time at each spot to safely distribute lollies and see Santa!

DON'T FRET, Santa will still travel along the entire route as normal waving and giving Christmas cheer to all!

💥 Please keep children on paths and off the roads and we will hand out lollies at each location 💥

Join us for our annual Santa Run on Christmas Eve!

We will be starting from 1pm and will post a map with the route closer to the date. As always the tracker link will be available so you can follow along the route and catch us.

We can not wait to see you all 🙂

As always, it will be in line with operational demands, not even Santa can stop an emergency!
