🎟️ Trivia tickets are rolling in and we’re so excited to see our Brisbania community coming together for a fun night out!

This year, our goal is to help fund 15 new laptops for Brisbania students.

Technology plays an increasingly important role in education and everyday life. From online learning and digital communication to emerging technologies and artificial intelligence, students need access to the tools and skills that will help them learn, adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Brisbania has built a strong foundation in this space, with students benefiting from access to quality technology and opportunities to develop valuable digital skills across the school.

Unfortunately, many of our devices are ageing and the ongoing cost of replacing and updating technology is significant. Without modern, reliable laptops in our classrooms, schools risk falling behind and face greater challenges supporting the diverse learning needs of students.

Every ticket, donation and show of support helps make a difference — thank you for backing our school community and our kids.

🌟 Volunteer of the Term – Tanya 🌟

A huge congratulations to Tanya, our very deserving Volunteer of the Term! 🎉

Tanya is always lending a helping hand — whether it’s in the uniform shop, supporting our Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls, helping at the athletics carnival, or stepping in wherever needed.

Not only does Tanya generously give her time, but she also kindly donates goods from her business to support our school community and events, which is so greatly appreciated.

Tanya is a friendly and familiar face to our Brisbania kids and wider school community, always bringing kindness and a willingness to help.

Thank you, Tanya, for everything you do — we are so lucky to have you! 💙

Next Fundraising Catch Up - Sunday May 31st

Back in Feb, a small group of parents came together for our first Fundraising Catch-Up - and many of the ideas discussed that night have already helped shape recent P&C events (with a few more exciting ones still to come 👀).

Now we’re doing it again!

This is a casual, ideas-focused get together for anyone interested in:

✨ Community events
✨ Sponsorship opportunities
✨ Bringing people together
✨ Helping in small or big ways

No pressure. No formal meeting structure. Just a chance to connect, throw around ideas and help shape what’s next for our school community.

✨LOTS of news from tonight’s P&C meeting! ✨

A huge welcome to our new Uniform Shop Coordinator, Courtney, and our new Secretary, Nikki. Thank you both for stepping into these important volunteer roles that help keep our school community running smoothly. We also want to acknowledge and thank those currently supporting these functions behind the scenes - we truly appreciate your time and effort.

It is also with great sadness that we share that Rose Smith, our Assistant Canteen Manager, will be retiring at the end of Term 2.

Rose has been a much-loved part of the Brisbania community for many many years, contributing not only through the canteen but also across multiple P&C roles. We thank her for everything she has given our school community and wish her all the very best for this next chapter.

We’re still on the lookout for canteen volunteers - now more than ever - to help ensure the sustainability of this wonderful service. Please reach out to [email protected] if you’re able to spare any time.

There were also discussions regarding the OOSH transition process. Upcoming workshops in late May and early June will bring together centres from across the Central Coast navigating similar transitions, with the P&C Federation helping lead and support these conversations.
