🎮 Register by 18 September for Gamer Fest! 🎮

To celebrate Youth Fest this September, we’re hosting a video game event to encourage cooperative and friendly competition, and action-packed fun for young gamers.

✔ Ages 12-17
📅 When: Thursday 24 September, 10am & 12:30pm (two sessions)
📍 Where: Peterson Youth Centre, Highett

Lunch will be provided between 12pm-12:30pm to allow young people from both sessions the chance to socialise 😋🍴

Make sure you register by Friday 18 September to avoid missing out!

We're planning the next generation of skate and bike facilities in Bayside, and we want to hear from the people who'll use them most!

Whether you're into skateboarding, BMX, mountain biking, scootering, rollerblading or just hanging out with friends, your ideas can help shape what's built now and over the next 10 years.

We're calling for submissions for the Young People of Bayside Art Exhibition. This year’s theme is ‘Under the Neon Lights’ 🌟

Register your artwork submission by this Friday 7 August at 5pm.

This exhibition is presented by the Boombox Events Committee (featured) and Bayside Youth Services.

Artwork may be submitted by 10 to 25 year olds with a connection to the Bayside municipality (live, work, school or play).

All aboard the steamroller at Cheltenham Recreation Reserve playground! 🚂

We’ve created a bigger, brighter, more inclusive play space, where history, recreation and community come together.

The new playground includes:
✨ custom treehouse
💧 misted water play
🧗 climbing tower + slide
🌀 spinner bowl
🐨 spring rockers
🌿 nature‑play areas
🎠 swings for all ages
🚂 restored historic steamroller
🚻improved public toilets
🏫 shaded seating under the Cheltenham Station down building.

Join us tomorrow (Saturday 25 July) at 10:30am for the official opening!
