NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS STORYTIME

Last week, students joined over 2.2 million other participants for the 26th National Simultaneous Storytime. The story, Luna Roo: the Kangaroo Baller — written by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, and illustrated by Jake Minton shared the joy, determination and teamwork of the FC Outback team winning the Animal World Cup.

Afterwards, we combined year groups and students read a variety of picture books to each other in classrooms and outside spaces across the school. It was a fantastic event for our students as they celebrated the joy of reading, storytelling and connection.
