🌟🌟🌟 Your Year to Volunteer 🌟🌟🌟

Today marks the start of National Volunteer Week, Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering. It aims to highlight the important role of volunteers in our community and invite people not currently volunteering to give it a go!

Firstly, we want to thank the amazing volunteers at our show. Without our volunteers, we could not produce the event we do every year. The Samford Show is completely run by volunteers who all work and have various commitments. We always welcome more volunteers, as the more hands we have, the lighter the load we carry.

Ahead of this year's show, we are looking for content creators who may wish to attend and provide some content for our show. Our social media is undergoing a significant facelift over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out 😉

If you know someone who may be interested please do the following:

- Provide your instagram and facebook links. We do not use tiktok.
- If you could tell us a little bit about yourselves in a short bio that would be great.
- We would love to support local content creators if possible, but this is not a limiting factor.

As a not-for-profit show society, our show would not be possible without our incredible sponsors, who support us in various ways, including prizes, financial donations, and other arrangements. This year, we have developed a new document that provides our sponsors with greater value and clear guidance on how they can maximise their opportunities through sponsorship of our event.

Please see the details below noting the Rodeo planned for this weekend has now been moved to the 20th of December due to this week's weather.

🚨 IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE SAMFORD 🚨

Due to ongoing weather conditions and storms predicted on Saturday, in the interest of safety for riders, animals, staff and spectators, Bull Throttle Samford has been postponed.

The new event date is:
📅 Saturday, 20th December 2025
📍 Samford Showgrounds

All current tickets will be automatically transferred to the new date including seating allocations and Pit Party upgrades.

🎟️ No action is required if you would like to attend on the new date and keep your tickets.

We truly appreciate everyone’s support and understanding. We know this isn’t the news anyone hoped for, however the weather would not allow us to safely deliver the full Bull Throttle experience this weekend. Safety always comes first.

We are committed to bringing Samford an unforgettable night of bull riding, freestyle motocross, kids’ rides, line dancing, food trucks and family entertainment, just a few weeks later than planned AND being so close to Christmas we have decided we are bringing you an X-mas special. . . more details to come 🤠🔥
