Public Holiday Closure Notice

Please note that Sale Neighbourhood House will be closed on Monday, 8 June 2026 for the King's Birthday Public Holiday.

We will reopen and resume normal activities on Tuesday, 9 June 2026.

Walking Group Update

The weather is looking a little uncertain for our walk. If the rain holds off, we'll still be heading out at 9:30am for our usual gentle stroll.

If it's a little too wet for walking, don't let that stop you from joining us! Come along to Sale Neighbourhood House for a hot drink, a chat, and some good company instead.

We'll make a call based on the weather, but either way, we'd love to see you there. 💙

Tabitha's Closet is visiting Sale Neighbourhood House tomorrow!

Just a reminder that Tabitha's Closet will be set up at the House from 1:00pm–2:00pm tomorrow.

Tabitha's Closet provides free clothing and essentials to people in our community who may need a little extra support. There are items for adults, children and babies, and everyone is welcome to come along and have a look.

No referrals, no appointments, just a friendly face and a helping hand when it's needed.

Since joining us a few months ago, Julzy has already made a fantastic contribution, especially with lawn and garden maintenance, helping keep our spaces looking welcoming and cared for. Leslie has been a wonderful volunteer at Sale Neighbourhood House for more than 8 years! Known as our in-house barbecue extraordinaire and resident “Mr Fix-It,” Leslie is always ready to lend a hand, solve a problem, or help bring people together over a great BBQ. His generosity, practical skills, and friendly nature make him an invaluable part of our community. Thank you, Leslie, for everything you do!

We’re excited to be hosting a FREE accredited First Aid Training session here at Sale Neighbourhood House, thanks to Wellington Shire Council.

This course is designed for people aged 18+ and is a fantastic opportunity to build your confidence and learn practical lifesaving skills, including CPR and responding to life-threatening emergencies. Whether you want to refresh your knowledge or complete first aid training for the first time, this is a great chance to do so locally and free of charge.

The training will run on Friday 29th May 2026 from 9am–5pm at Sale Neighbourhood House, with light refreshments included throughout the day.

Spots are limited, so make sure to scan the QR code on the flyer to book your place.
