Operated by Wellington Shire Council, the Aqua Energy Leisure Centre in Sale, Victoria offers a variety of dynamic fitness options and leisure facilities for users of all ages and abilities.

Kings Birthday Public Holiday - Monday 8 June 2026.

Aqua Energy will be open 8am - 5pm for the Kings Birthday Public Holiday on Monday.

There will be Virtual Group Fitness Classes on:
9.15am BodyPUMP
10.30am BodyBALANCE
12pm RPM
2.30pm CORE
3.30pm BodyPUMP

There will be no swimming lessons.

24/7 Members, your access will be as normal to the Gym.

Looking to boost your child’s swimming skills fast? Aqua Energy’s In 10 Sive School Holiday Swim Program is the perfect way to build confidence, improve technique, and strengthen water safety — all in just 5 days!

💦 What is the In 10 Sive Program? A focused 5 day, 30 mins per day school holiday program designed to:
• Build water confidence quickly
• Strengthen stroke technique through daily repetition
• Boost safety skills for all ages
• Provide a fun, supportive environment for swimmers 3+ years

📌 Can't do all 5 days? That's ok, we can take your child for less days but still give them the skills.

Weekend Teen Gym Update

We have a small change to our weekend schedule.
From this Saturday 16 May, Teen Gym will run Saturdays only, from 10.30am – 11.30am.
Please note: Sunday sessions will no longer run.

Our weekday Teen Gym remains the same, running Monday to Friday, 3.30pm – 5pm.

Thanks for your understanding — we look forward to seeing you in the gym.

25m Pool Closure - Tuesday 12 May

A reminder that the 25m Pool will be closed to the public tomorrow from 11am - 3pm while we undertake some maintenance work on the pool floor.

All other pool spaces will operate as normal.

📣 25m Pool Maintenance Update – Tuesday 12 May

The 25m indoor pool will be closed to the public from 11am–3pm on Tuesday 12 May.

As with any new build, a few teething issues can pop up, and we need to carry out some maintenance on the pool floor during this time.

🏊‍♂️ The pool will be open before 11am and again after 3pm.
All remaining pools will be open as normal.

We apologise for any inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience while we get this sorted.

Watch Around Water - Your Child, Your Focus

At Aqua Energy we’re committed to creating a safe, fun environment for every family. That’s why we follow the Watch Around Water guidelines, and we ask all parents and carers to do the same.

Here’s what that means when you visit us:
• Under 5s must have an adult, 16yrs or older in the water, staying within arm’s reach. These children are required to wear a pink wristband
• 5–9 year olds must be actively supervised from the pool deck by someone aged 16yrs or older. These children are required to wear a yellow wristband.
• Actively Supervising means no phones or distractions while supervising — your eyes save lives

Due to electrical works happening in the building tomorrow, there will be some change room closures throughout the day.

Rest assured — not all change rooms will be closed at the same time, and there will always be one available for use.
