Tonight the crew had a fun night training while keeping their skills sharp 🚒
Training included patient handling, blindfolded pump operations, shipping standpipe, six chock bowling, radio communications, and even the officers joined in with the challenge of picking up an egg using the jaws of life 🥚🔥
A great night full of teamwork, laughs, and hands-on learning!

Another great night of training for the crew tonight. 🚒
The brigade practised operating pumps on each appliance, along with setting up and running the extraction fan. The night finished off with training in de-energising fuses safely.
Great teamwork, hands-on learning and building skills to help keep our community safe. 👏🔥

Please see advice from Redland City Council in regards to the weather.

🌧️ With wet conditions and more rain on the way over the coming days, please take care on the roads and stay up to date with BOM forecasts.

Slow down, drive to the conditions, and never drive through floodwaters – even if there isn’t a closure sign. Your car can’t protect you. Play it safe.

If it’s flooded, forget it!

Access forecasts, weather updates, rainfall radars and more through the BOM app. Download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play 👉 www.bom.gov.au/bom-weather-app

If you’re concerned your property may be impacted by more rain, you can view open sandbag station locations on Council’s Disaster Dashboard 👉 disaster.redland.qld.gov.au
