After a long quiet year, the Rushworth Shire Hall is back in business!!

Come and blow away the Covid blues and join us for a FREE hall revival gig and enjoy a Sunday arvo session with Simon Marks (and be home in time for dinner!)

Fancy tables will be set and ready for your BYO nibbles or purchase one of a limited number of snack hampers.

The grand finale of a series of events, this FREE bush dance will feature live music, sausage sizzle and the launch of the Shire Hall's own history book.

An historic icon, the Shire Hall is recognised as one of the Campaspe Shire's most prestigious buildings and has been the scene of many a community gathering.

Join us for this auspicious occasion!

BYO nibbles, refreshments and dancing shoes!!!
5pm start so that kids can have a boogie before nightfall.

Our Story

Opened in 1869, the historic Rushworth Shire Hall is an outstanding example of mid 19th century architecture. Built from local materials, the hall is not only stately but also has a well-equpped interior with a large commercial kitchen, modern disabled -access toilet facilities, an ample stage complete with PA, comfortable seating for 200 people and an additional supper room. The hall is kept at a comfortable temperature year ‘round, thanks to modern ducted air-conditioning. The Rushworth Shire Hall is available for hire for public and private events at excellent rates.
