Firefighting operations have wrapped up at last night's scene and area has been taped off and made safe.
The Rosebery- Tullah brigade would like to thank the efforts of community members offering support last night and throughout the day today.
Massive thanks to our neighbouring brigades Queenstown Fire Brigade - Tasmania Zeehan Fire Brigade, TAS for the back up and extra hands its always good knowing we have have these guys ready to back us up when needed.
Thanks GBE Maintenance Services for the swift action in helping with transport of machinery this afternoon, Gradco for making an excavator and operators ready and available to assist in making the scene safe. Bonns Milkbar and staff for multiple offers throughout the day offering hot drinks and food for the guys on the ground.
This is a timely reminder that smoke alarms save lives, make sure you have a smoke alarm in every bed room and are fully operational, make sure you have an exit plan when things go wrong
