We spent the last fews day at another fantasic Yule River Bush Meeting on Kariyarra Country.

The annual on-country meeting is a space where culture and politics meet and puts the self-determination of Aboriginal people across the Pilbara at the centre of every conversation.

We were delighted that Ieremugadu local, Kaylene, won our deadly big prize and it was awesome to see another 6718 local, Patrick Churnside, performing to close out the event.

We are grateful to the Yule River Call to Action group for driving this work forward througout the year and to Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation for the hard work in orgnaising the event.

Today the Yandi for Change team brought together all of the amazing services we work with for the first time in a while. It was great to be squeezed around a table talking about how we all want better outcomes for our community. No better way to spend a few hours on National Close the Gap Day.
