⚠️ 50M Pool Closure Update ⚠️

Unfortunately due to an unforeseen plant system fault, our 50m pool is currently closed and is looking to remain closed for the remainder of this week while works are carried out.

Our team is working closely with Council and contractors to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If we are able to reopen earlier than expected, we absolutely will.. keep a close eye out for updates.

All 50m lane bookings have been cancelled during this period.

Clubs or user groups requiring pool space are encouraged to urgently email [email protected] with any 25m pool requests and our team will do our best to accommodate where possible.

A further update regarding reopening plans for next week will be provided prior to the weekend.

⚠️ FACILITY UPDATE ⚠️

Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen technical issue that is outside of our control, the 50m pool will be closed today and tomorrow.

We are working closely with Rockhampton Regional Council to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while this occurs.

At this stage, we will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.

✅ The 25m outdoor pool remains OPEN
☕ Poppies Café remains OPEN and operating as normal
✅ Indoor learn to swim pool operating as normal

At Splash-A-Bout Swim School, we don’t charge entry fees for parents, siblings or family members who are coming in to watch learn to swim lessons.

Please be aware that Huish Drive will be closed until approximately 10:30AM this morning due to the Rocky River Run.

Southside Aquatic Centre and Poppies Cafe remain OPEN, with parking accessible via the Graeme Acton Way carpark - please allow a little long than usual in travel time due to the road closures and congestion.

Please allow a little extra travel time this morning and follow all traffic management directions in place.
