This evening Rockbank Fire Brigade had a busy training night.

We stimulated a car fire in a garage using our very own fire station. Thanks to Eynesbury Fire Brigade - CFA for the donation of a smoke machine which made it possible. 💨

Members demonstrated BA skills, hose bowling and hose management. 🚒🔥

Rockbank has recruited 15 new firefighters in preparation for another busy summer ahead.

Another busy start to the day for Rockbank Fire Brigade volunteers having been called out twice throughout the night.

At 1am we were called out to a pile of rubbish on fire in Aintree, which required Breathing Apparatus to safely extinguish due to the contents.

Then at 7am, we were called to a vehicle accident in Rockbank. Thankfully no one was injured.

Thanks to FRV 43, 55 & 56, Melton Fire Brigade - CFA & Werribee Fire Brigade - CFA for your assistance with these calls.

A big day for Rockbank Fire Brigade having been called out to a large rubbish fire in Werribee South.

Then tonight we conducted some joint training with CFA Toolern Vale which focused on a vehicle accident and a mulch fire.
These short duration drills get us working with other brigades whilst sharpening up our skills.

A busy start to the morning already for Rockbank Fire Brigade.

This morning we have been called out to a Smoke Alarm Operating in Aintree which was a false alarm.

One our way back to station, we were then called to support Bacchus Marsh CFA at a House Fire in Long Forest.
We were called upon to provide water and were able to head back to Rockbank once the fire was under control.
